WA NDIS

WA NDIS is a model of supporting people with disability to exercise more choice and control over their supports and services, participate in the local community and build on natural supports such as friendships, neighbours and local community groups.

WA NDIS funding can be used by eligible clients for both our Early Intervention services, or for psychology consults.

To participate in WA NDIS, people with disability need to meet certain eligibility requirements. These are based on age, residence, disability and early intervention needs.

You may be eligible if you:

  • are under 65 years of age at the time of the eligibility request

  • are an Australian citizen or the holder of a permanent visa or a protected Special Category Visa (subclass 444)

  • permanently residing in an area where WANDIS operates.

You meet the disability requirements if you have a disability which:

  • is attributable to an intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory or physical impairment or to one or more impairments attributable to a psychiatric condition; and

  • the impairment or impairments are, or are likely to be, permanent; and

  • you are likely to require support for your lifetime.

You meet the early intervention requirements if you:

  • have one or more identified intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory or physical impairments that are, or are likely to be, permanent; or

  • have one or more identified impairments that are attributable to a psychiatric condition and are, or are likely to be, permanent; or

  • are a child who has developmental delay.
